  Frearsons is located on Bridge Street, part of the A6 that runs through Belper, a small market town in the Amber Valley area of Derbyshire. What you first notice about the shop is that it's a real throwback, a bit old fashioned but, none the worse for it. There is a good cross section of items in both windows to give you a fair idea of what's in store. The entrance is very low and wheelchair and pushchair accessible. Inside is a huge selection of giftware, watches, clocks and precious jewellery, there can't be many occasions that aren't catered for. Also available is an excellent jewellery repair service with all the work carried out on the premises by a real craftsman who doesn't charge the earth. With friendly, knowledgeable staff who don't give you the "hard" sell I never have any doubts about recommending Frearsons. These kinds of shops need to be used as without them towns would be poorer for their loss
