  Good, you can get what you need from here, some staff are helpful. Sometimes good service, I recommend them if certain people are working which I suppose doesn't bide well for the company, one thing that gripes me, is that they are not open on a Sunday, now when you are at work all week and haven't got the time to drop in. Well a Sunday morning opening would be great for the many people like me to drop in and get the tools, concrete, sand, bbq gas etc I require. Because let's face it, most people have barbecues at the weekend, so what good is it if you run out of gas? So frustrating. Even if you opened for just a few hours, you know that you would get customers and plenty of them. You are the best shop in Belper for the one stop wood/plumbing equipment gas supply etc. The only thing that I would change is the Manager or supervisor, whatever, the rude obnoxious ass hole....Peter I think his name is. Oh, mate probably the most hated person in the history of Belper. He is unwilling to help if humanly possible, he is rude as often as possible. He, and he alone is the reason that this review is not a 5 star review. There is a young lad there, Matt (if memory serves) he is who you want to see about ANYTHING, because he is a normal bloke and he WILL help you to the best of his ability. Also, the delivery service is very good, they have trucks with crane arms to put your freshly delivered heavies eg sand/plaster pallets/concrete etc anywhere you wish which can save a hell of a lot of time. The drivers are very polite, and will do there best to put your order where you want it. 10/10 for these guys. They have a very good wood cutting service using there very powerful bandsaw, sometimes finding someone to help you can be a pain. All in all, I would definitely recommend build base, it is overpriced compared to anywhere really but guaranteed you might find what you are looking for :-/

  Garbage. They offered a guaranteed 48 delivery and I had to cancel the order after they called 3 days in to say they might deliver in the next few days! Employing a tradesman with nothing to do, waiting for a delivery that doesn't happen....
